In this case, I would not feel comfortable recommending RIU Santa Fe, to friends or family. I like good service as much as the next person, but it takes a lot for me to came to a place where I would not recommend a hotel. That said, I would probably rate this particular property at/or near the bottom of the list. I have been a guest at multiple all inclusive resorts & have been on a few cruises, as well.I feel like I have enough all inclusive "experience", to compare RIU Santa Fe against. Last, we were told dinner reservations were offered for either 8:30 or 9:00 pm & that everything else was booked (come to find out that when we arrived more than half the restaurant was empty).Ģ.) All guests. RIU also does not have copies of the specialty restaurant menu's, which Barcelo did. My last vacation was at a Barcelo property in Riviera Maya, where you had the option of scheduling your reservation just as you checked in. Aren't we on vacation, to sleep in if we want? In addition, you can only book for the current day and for 2 days later, meaning you are going through this crazy procedure more than once. It is average at best.ġ.) The specialty restaurants that are offered (steak/chinese/italian), all require a guest to wake up 6:30-7:00 to make a reservation.
